Except you’ve been living in a cave you probably heard about last weekend’s wedding of the decade between reality star Kim Kardashian & New Jersey Nets bench warmer Kris Humphries.
Being the pimp hustler business woman that mama Kim, Kris Jenner is she ensured not a dime for the wedding came out of their pockets. Everything was picked up by sponsors from their rings to the invitation cards all for the publicity being associated with the Kardashian name will generate for their businesses.
The exclusive wedding photos were sold to People Magazine for $1.5 million. The photos were released today, with just Kim on the cover…yup, the magazine didn’t even bother putting the groom Kris Humphries on the cover with Kim cos let’s be honest he is so not a factor in this.www.mannastores.com
Stateside this wedding has been compared to the Royal Wedding (a slap in the face to UK Royalty), Kim even tried to copy the Pippa Middleton effect by dressing her bridesmaids (sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall & Khloe) in white, which for me was a bad idea ‘cos they looked like brides themselves…thereby stealing her shine. The bride wore 3 custom made Vera Wang dresses (valued at $20,000 each), with over 15 million dollars worth of diamonds.
Guests at the wedding included Serena Williams, Ciara, Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan,Mel B & Eva Longoria.
