Nominees were revealed at a bash in Lagos .  East Africa fell short only receiving five nominations and one lonely nomination for Uganda which went to Radio & Weasal for Best Group. There is just not enough ‘tooke representing. We think they need to add an East African category, our industries are smaller and need more spotlight!
Nigerian artists grabbed 13 nominations with 3 going to popular group P-Square including Artist of the Year. DRC’s Fally Ipupa has 4 nominations, the highest number for an individual this time round
